…Threaten blackout of APC PCC campaign
Executives of some Northern Media TV and Radio stations say it has come to their knowledge that their colleagues in the South-West region have been mobilised to roll out Radio and TV advertisement materials on the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential campaign.
The concerned media executives lamented that while about 60 of south-based media stations have been mobilised, northern based broadcast establishments seem to be sidelined and not carried along.
The executives have already filed complaints with the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking for his urgent intervention.
The aggrieved Indigenous Northern Media Executives, who conveyed their unhappiness over what they consider as ‘total marginalisation’ of the Northern Indigenous television and radio stations by the APC Presidential Campaign Council, stressed the need to urgently address the issue in order to avoid blackout of the APC Presidential campaign.
